We are currently looking for suitable experience candidates for the position of Business Development Manager, Texila American University.

Texila American University Zambia is a private University, established in 2016. The University is approved by Higher Education Authority – Ministry of Higher Education, Zambia and Listed in Zambia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ZACCI) and International Council for Open and Distance Education.

Position: Business Development Manager

Description:

  1. Identify the Business Associates / Institutes that can work with TAU and
    promote our programs in local community / within their Colleges.
  2. Establish the Facility Centre across Zambia and keep a track of their working.
  3. Establish contacts with various associations for bringing admissions.
  4. Keep a track of various events happening in SADAC region for exploiting them
    in the interest of the University?
  5. Establish the contacts with the C level Executives and CMO for promoting the
    programs.
  6. Working with the Diploma provider Institutions with the aim of targeting
    students under ‘Credit Transfer’.
  7. Ensuring the campus visits of the top personalities as per the targets.
  8. Supporting C S& M Manager to create visibility / Branding for the University
    and appointing Brand Ambassador in order to conduct events.
  9. Coordination with the C S & M Manager on a regular basis.
  10. Operationalizing the activities of the Business Development Section.
  11. Weekly meeting with the Reporting Head and submitting a progress report on bi-
    monthly basis.
  12. Handling & Retaining the support team and maintaining a high level of TAU
    Culture.
  13. Any other task as per the instruction of the Reporting Head.

Qualification:

  • Bachelors or Masters in Business Management / Administration

Experience:

  • 6 to 8 years of experience in Business Development.
  • Experience in Learning institution will be an added advantage
