The Salvation Army looking for a qualified person for the position of Accounts Receivable to work on contract for one (1) year.

JOB TITLE: ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLES (1 POSITION)

PURPOSE. Responsible for taking charge of the Salvation Army day to day Receivables Should also demonstrate an interest in managing activities, including bank reconciliations and accounts receivables.

Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for the day to day management of the financial transaction and procedures
  2. Keep accurate records for all daily transactions in the cashbooks and accounting system.
  3. Update internal systems with financial data.
  4. Reconcile bank statement.
  5. Able to file.

Qualification:

  1. Grade twelve (12) certificate with five (5) O’ levels.
  2. Part 2 ZICA or any other similar qualifications.
  3. Knowledge in Sun systems or any other accounting software
  4. Excel knowledge will be added advantage.
  5. Work experience of two (2) is required.

An attractive package will be offered to a successful applicant who will be appointed on contract term for a period of one (1) year.
