Top Southern Africa Transport Limited is Currently Recruiting: Administrative/Accounts Assistant


We are looking for a result-driven Administrative/Accounts Assistant to undertake the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Handle office interactions with customers, employees, and others to answer questions, address complaints, explain information, and take orders in a professional manner.
  • Operate and maintain office machinery, including copiers, fax machines, and printers.
  • Perform basic bookkeeping and banking transactions, including the collection, counting, and disbursement of money
  • Compile and maintain records of office activities and business transactions
  • Prepare and mail bills, invoices, checks, and contracts
  • Occasionally travel off-site to deliver files and reports to various departments within the organization.
  • Maintain files with confidentiality in an easily accessible format.
  • Managing payment voucher system
  • Assist in the reconciliation of direct debits and finance accounts.
  • Assist in ensuring all payments amounts & records are accurate.
  • Working with journals, sales & purchase ledgers and spreadsheets.
  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
  • Assisting in update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
  • Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies etc.

Basic Requirements

  • ZICA Technician Certificate or any related field
  • Certificate in Business Administration or any related field
  • Must possess a comprehensive understanding of administrative/accounting Management techniques, control methods, and procedures.
  • Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Excel and Word packages.
  • Fluent in both verbal and written English.

  • Ability to follow processes and procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Must have excellent numeracy literacy and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure the highest accuracy.
  • Able to deliver excellent customer service both internally with work colleagues, and externally, with vendors and other stakeholders.
  • Willing to work overtime at short notice, and able to meet tight deadlines.
