We are looking for an innovative Trainer/Instructor to design training programs for our students in the following Fields:
Fish Farming x1
Psycho social Counselling x1
ICT x1
The Trainers will be responsible for ensuring the following responsibilities,
- Carry out performance assessments to determine the skills gap between current and desirable learner skill levels.
- Design training programs appropriate to the skills needed
- Develop an appropriate mix of formal and informal development activities
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and learning outcomes
- Liaise with partners (e.g. external course providers, employers, examining bodies) to fulfil the skills needs of an organization
- Develop peer networks to keep abreast of current thinking
- Maintain appropriate records of learner development and resource allocation.
- Develops lesson plans which meet established school and national curriculum models
- Adapt and reassess lesson plans to meet specific student needs, comply with newly implemented guidelines or rules, and to update relevant information and include new developments in education
- Manage the diverse ability levels of students
- Adapt curriculum to fit student needs while maintaining overall class progress
- Possesses and continually develops working knowledge of national curriculum programmes and frameworks
- Assesses and records student development, while identifying problem areas and areas which need attention and improvement.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Psycho-social Counselling
- Associate Degree in the relevant category.
- Methodologies in the relevant category is a must.
- Up to date membership with TEVETA
