BME Zambia Ltd is looking for a competent, passionate and results-driven professional to fill the following role:

Underground Emulsion Specialist – Zambia/Namibia/DRC

Reports to: Operations Manager

Key Performance Areas

  • Managing blasting of service delivery
  • Managing stocks
  • Cost control
  • Managing the SHEQ function
  • Invoicing of customers

Requirements:

  • Full grade 12 certificate or its equivalent
  • Diploma in Mining/ Mechanical or Explosives Engineering
  • Member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ)
  • Holder ofaZambian Blasting License (All Mining Operations)
  • Sound knowledge of applicable legislation such as the Explosives Act, OHS Act.
  • Knowledge of operational planning and extensive knowledge of mining operations
  • Minimum of 5 years’ post-qualifying experience in an operational/explosives mining environment
  • Computer literacy
  • Supervisory experience in managing a production crew

SADC drivers license Class C
