Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervises the Faculty Recruitment, Selection and Appraisals Process
• Ensures the implementation of UU Malawi Academic Regulations, and advises faculty and students accordingly
• Responsible for the monitoring of faculty, supervision of data collection and reporting on the quality of instruction and other academic parameters
• Oversees the scheduling of classes, maintenance of accurate academic records and ensures the timely preparation of reports related to academic activities and processes of UU Malawi

Required Skills:

• Excellent command of the English language is essential
• A postgraduate degree in a relevant field is mandatory; a doctoral degree is considered an advantage
• Previous experience in Academic Administration, preferably in a high educational setting is indicated
