We are building a talent pool of candidates to be considered for future positions with UNICEF Zimbabwe within our Supply and Logistics Unit. Successful candidates will be placed in a pool that will be valid for 2 years. However two positions are currently vacant as indicated against the position.
Supply Assistant at GS5 Level (Currently vacant)
Purpose of the Job:
Under the direct supervision of the Supply Officer, collect /compile information on supplies under distribution from the warehouse to distribution points and further to end user. Drafts solicitation documents, tabulation and propose award for review by supervisor. Responsible for generating weekly progress report and escalates bottlenecks to supervisor.
Requirements
Qualifications and Competencies:
Minimum Post graduate diploma or qualification in Supply or Logistics Management, Business Management or administration, Information Management or related field.
Minimum five years of relevant professional work experience in logistics operations. Previous experience with end-user monitoring, supply chain operations an advantage.
