Applicants should hold an undergraduate degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences/Biochemistry/Biological Sciences /Physiology /MBChB, an MPhil/MSc in Clinical Biochemistry/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Human Genetics/ Physiology and a Doctor of Philosophy/Doctorate Degree or equivalent in Clinical Biochemistry/ Biochemistry/ Genomics/ Biotechnology. Experience in a routine Clinical Biochemistry Laboratory and expertise in Molecular Biology techniques are a definite advantage. The incumbent will be expected to participate in all Departmental activities which include teaching in MBChB, MSc (Clinical Biochemistry), MMed, Medical Laboratory Technology, Occupational Health and Physiotherapy programmes, general Departmental and University administration, Research, supervising MSc, MPhil and DPhil students and also provide consulting services of Clinical Biochemistry to Public Health Laboratories.
