Varun Food & Beverages Zambia Ltd (Creambell) a leading Beverage manufacturing company situated at plot No. 37426, Mungwi Road in Heavy Industrial area, Lusaka is URGENTLY looking to recruit a suitably qualified individual to fill the position of Assistant Human Resources Officer to be based in Lusaka.

Department: Human Resources

Reporting to: Senior Human Resources Officer

JOB SUMMARY:

  • Assist with Recruitment and selection of employees
  • Assist with induction and orientation programs for new employees i.e. organizing and managing new employee’s orientation, induction and training programs.
  • Management and Preparation of employment contracts
  • Processing and Management of payroll
  • Disciplinary and Grievance handling i.e. preparation of disciplinary and grievance hearings
  • Leave Monitoring
  • Providing day to day Human Resources support
  • Ensure that the strictest of confidentiality is maintained at all times
  • Monitoring attendance of employees using Belina payroll software.
  • Fulfillment of additional duties as required
  • Overseeing employee health and safety procedures are followed
  • Requesting and providing safety clothing to employees.

DESIRED QUALIFICATION AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Should have a Diploma/Degree in Human Resources Management/Public Administration/Business Administration
  • Should have a minimum of 3-years’ experience.
  • Should be a member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resources Management
  • Knowledge of Belina and Micro payroll software coupled with sound knowledge of Industrial and Labour Relations will be an added advantage.
