Zambia Airports Corporation Limited is a reputable Aviation Organization with a mission to provide World Class Airport and Air Navigation Services at our four major International airports; namely Kenneth Kaunda in Lusaka, Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe in Ndola, Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula in Livingstone and Mfuwe InternationalAirports.

POSITION: SENIOR MANAGER PROCUREMENT AND SUPPLIES

LOCATION: HEAD OFFICE

Summary of duties and responsibilities

To advise management on the most appropriate methods of procurement and supervision of procurement activities to achieve best value for money and manage all procurement processes of goods and services in accordance with laid down law and procedures.

Key Performance Areas

  • Manage and drive the execution of Supply Chain Management unit’s strategy and operational plan to ensure optimal business performance
  • Manage, coordinate and drive the overall execution of Supply Chain Management business operations and processes
  • Manage the planning and execution of strategic initiatives/projects and operational excellence program
  • Manage the Supply Chain Management unit’s financial budgeting, planning, expenditure and reporting
  • Managing employee engagement, people and performance management processes
  • Manage and coordinate the governance, reporting, and stakeholder management processes

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Grade 12 School Certificate with at least 50′ level credits including English and Mathematics
  • Must possess a degree in any relevant field
  • Must have Full CIPS qualification
  • A postgraduate qualification in a relevant field will be an added advantage
  • Have not less than 5 years relevant experience in management position.
  • Must be a paid-up member Of Zambia Institute Of Purchasing and Supply
