The Zambian Open University (ZAOU) is an institution of high standing both locally and internationally, which is registered with the Higher Education Authority (HEA), and whose vision is “to be an internationally recognized Open University providing quality education through distance and blended learning.” The University is now looking for self-motivated and suitably qualified individuals to fill the following vacancies:
TEACHING POSITIONS
- Senior Lecturer
- Lecturer I
- Lecturer II
- Lecturer III
The above-listed positions are for the following programmes:
- Agribusiness Management
- Agriculture Economics
- Agricultural Extension
- Animal Science
- Horticulture
- Plant Science
JOB PURPOSE
- Teach and conduct research in the respective degree programmes
- Prepare modules and other teaching materials in the relevant courses
- Participate in the academic and professional activities of the School
- Perform any other function as may be assigned by the University authorities from time to time
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- PhD or MSc degree in the respective areas of specialization
- At least Three (03) years of experience for PhD holders and Five (5) years’ experience for MSc degree holders at similar level in either private or public University
- Evidence of scholarly research and publications
