EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

Zambia Seed Company Limited (ZAMSEED) is a Company operating throughout Zambia and in the SADC/COMESA region. Its main objective is to produce and market seed of agricultural and horticultural crops of major importance to the country and the region.

The company is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the position of Management Accountant.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the main responsibilities will include but not be restricted to the following:

• Prepare and Consolidate Annual Budgets
• Monitor and control actual expenditure against approved Budget
• Ensure accuracy of postings to the ledgers and maintain a traceable trail of transactions
• Maintain proper filing and custody of all accountable documents to facilitate easy retrieval of the same as and when required
• Supervise Quarterly Stock Take
• Prepare Quarterly Management Accounts
• Prepare Cash How Forecasts and Reports to facilitate sound management of cash resource

Qualifications

• Full accounting qualification such as ACCA/CIMA
• At least three (3) years experience in management accounting
• Computer knowledge (spreadsheets & word) a must.
• Knowledge of Pastel Accounting will be an added advantage.
• Self-stance, requiring minimum supervision
• Must be a member of ZICA
