Pharmacist Technologist ( Ndola X1)
Contract: Part Time
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Procurement of essential medicines for the Clinic
- Evaluation of medicines use through analysis of clinic disease patterns
- Storage of medicines in accordance with prescribed standards by the authority
- Assessing the quality, safety and efficacy of medicines available
- Receiving and verifying supplies vs. invoices and inform the supplier if any shortages or overages
- Monitor expiry dates for the medicines and drugs and take action to avert losses.
- Reporting and requisitioning of medicines use
- Advising other health practitioners, prescribers on rational medicine use
The job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:
- A full grade Twelve certificate with a Minimum of Six (6) credits
- Diploma in Pharmacy Technology
- HPCZ Membership
- Self-motivated, numeric and excellent interpersonal skills
