ZAMNET Communication Systems Limited, fully owned by the University of Zambia (UNZA), was established in 1994 as Zambia’s first Internet Service company and one of the first in the sub-Saharan region. Over the years, ZAMNET has gained a vast amount of experience in delivering quality service to its ever-growing customer base. ZAMNET currently has five (5) full Points of Presence (PoPs) in Lusaka, Kitwe, Livingstone, Ndola and Solwezi, and eight (8) virtual PoPs, in Kalomo, Mazabuka, Choma, Lumwana, Luanshya, Chingola, Kalulushi and Chililabombwe. ZAMNET’s vision is to be the leading provider of quality Internet, Information and Communication solutions. ZAMNET’s Mission is to deliver high quality Internet, Information and Communication solutions at affordable rates through a highly skilled and motivated workforce.

Main Purpose of the Position:

To establish good customer relations which will lead to meeting overall company sales and marketing objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities;

  • Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional activities.
  • Conduct market research to determine market requirements for the existing and future products of the company.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products.
  • Expand and develop market platforms and monitor industry practices.
  • Manage the productivity of the marketing activities and results.
  • Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.
  • Carrying out market intelligence and inform management of issues within the market.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Sales and Marketing or Business Administration
  • I.T qualification will be an added advantage
  • Experience in an I.T environment will be an added advantage
  • 5 years experience at middle/senior management level is desired
  • Valid drivers license is a must
  • Must be a member of a relevant professional body
