Zimbabwe National Road Administration: Chief Exective Officer
The Zimbabwe National Road Administration (ZINARA) is a body corporate established in terms of the road Act (Chapter 13: 18). The body which was established in 2002 has prioritised the enhancement of good Road Network System Throughout The Country. Its Core Business, In Consultations With The Minister of Transport, Communication and Infrastructural Development is fixing road user charges and collect such charges or any other revenue of the Road Fund.
ZINARA would like to recruit a visionary, innovative, strategic and results oriented leader to fill the position of Chief Executive Officer. The purpose of the Job is to provide strategic leadership and direction, including ensuring the achievement of ZINARA’s vision and mandate and advise the Board on critical developments at the Agency.
The Principal Accountabilities
The successful candidate must demonstrate outstanding competences, proven track record and skills in the following areas of leadership:
Formulation and implementation of strategy
Effective stakeholder engagement
Effective corporate governance
Ensuring service excellence
Effective fund management and utilisation
Promotion and facilitation of private investment in to the sector-
Championing innovation within the sector
Effective management of the human capital
Effective organisational performance management
Advise the Board on policy formulation

Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
The person must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
First Degree in Business Management or equivalent
Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a bias towards strategic Management
Minimum 10 years’ experience at Senior Management level.
Between the ages of 38 and 50 years
Skills and Knowledge
Requisite technical knowledge related to ZINARA’s business.
Strong administration skills and experience.
Ability to effectively manage the Fund.
Good report writing and communication skills.
