OPERATIONS MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose:

You will report to the Directors. As Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily workings of the store operations. Additionally, you will be required to plan, manage and implement schedules to ensure deadlines are met and maintain a high quality standard of product and service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the growth and success of the Zotac team.
  • Coordinate activities that affect operational decisions and business requirements.
  • Prepare monthly reports and submit them to the Directors.
  • Responsible for the production, procurement and planning of daily operations.
  • Communicate with all relevant employee to ensure delivery times are met.
  • Plan schedules, reviews workload and manpower to make sure targets are being met on a cost-effective basis.
  • Manage the stock control and check that inventory records are accurate.
  • Ensure the sales team have enough resources to deliver products based on the client’s request.
  • Create a detailed schedule based on strict deadlines.
  • Communicate any changes in the order or delivery date to relevant parties or team members.
  • Monitor transactions to ensure that the set business standards are adhered to.
  • Purchase materials and services required for operations.
  • Follow up on interruptions to the order and ensure that clients are informed by the concerned parties.
  • Organize, plan and implement inventory activity.
  • Confirm that health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Provides guidance to employees.
  • Ensure that personnel files are up to date.
  • Assist with the recruitment process of new members of staff.
  • Instill discipline and communicate all company policies and procedures to members of staff.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Business Administration or related fields
  • Prior Warehouse and/or Managerial Experience Preferred
  • Highly Organised
  • Production and Planning Skills Required
  • Understanding of Stock Management Systems
  • Ability to Manage Time and Workload Effectively
  • Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written and Verbal
  • Leadership Skills
  • Experience in Negotiating and Working With Suppliers
  • Ability to Work in a Team Environment
  • Strong Problem Solving Skills
